Services for P.L. Godbold, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m., Thursday,Oct. 29, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel with burial inEasthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Godbold, 89, died Oct. 27, 2009, at Golden Living Center. Hewas born on Jan. 10, 1920, to Ida Mae Cupit and Pinkney LeviGodbold Sr.

He was retired and a member of Southway Baptist Church. Heserved in the Army during World War II.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Donnie MaeGodbold; three sisters; and three brothers.

Survivors include his daughters, Pat Hart and husband, Jim, ofBrookhaven, Betty McAllister and husband, Guy, of Vicksburg, andJanice Dale and husband Jim, of Hattiesburg; six grandchildren,Reggie Hart, Chris Hart, Scott Wilson, Doug Wilson, Todd McGeheeand Keith Dale; and seven great-grandchildren.
