Bobby Kelly Leonard

Services for Bobby Kelly Leonard, of Brookhaven, were 10 a.m.Thursday, Nov. 12, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel withburial in Midway Cemetery in Meadville.

Mr. Leonard, 71, died Nov. 10, 2009, at his residence. He wasborn on Dec. 21, 1937, to Robert Lee Leonard and Alice Lee KentLeonard.

He retired after 33 years from Copiah-Lincoln Community Collegeas a diesel and heavy equipment mechanics instructor. Mr. Leonardalso served with the National Guard. He was a member of CentralBaptist Church. He was also a member of the Homochitto BeagleClub.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert Lee Leonard andAlice Lee Kent Leonard; and his brothers, Clifton and DougLeonard.

Survivors are his wife, Jane Wallace Leonard; his daughters,Tanya Merrell and husband, Scott, and Leigh Ann Martin and husband,Randy; his four grandchildren, Alex Merrell, Andrew Merrell, TaylorMartin and Dawson Martin; a host of other family members; and aclose friend and caregiver, Marilyn Beeson.

Dorothy Ann ‘Dot’ McInnis

Services for Dorothy Ann “Dot” McInnis, of Wesson, are 10 a.m.Friday, Nov. 13, at Zion Hill Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at Stringer FamilyFuneral Home in Hazlehurst.

Mrs. McInnis, 73, died Nov. 10, 2009, at her residence followinga lengthy illness.

She was a native of Copiah County and attended high school thereuntil she moved to Jackson in 1959. She moved back to Copiah Countyafter her retirement. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.Mrs. McInnis was a secretary for Irby Construction for severalyears.

Survivors are her husband, Charles S. McInnis; a son, MichaelMcInnis and wife, Donna, of Union; a daughter, Elise Ann McInnis,of Magee; her grandchildren, Tori McInnis and Carter McInnis; andseveral nieces and nephews.
