Lulla LaBranche Myles

Memorial services for Lulla LaBranche Myles, of Ridgeland,formerly of Prentiss, are 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, at PrentissFirst Baptist Church in Prentiss. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home inBrookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Myles, 90, died Nov. 10, 2009, at Hospice Ministries inRidgeland. She was born in Fernwood on Feb. 19, 1919, to FrankLaBranche and Louella Walker LaBranche.

She was a Prentiss High School graduate and a graduate ofPrentiss Institute in Prentiss. She was also a former administratorat Prentiss Institute.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, MoreastMyles; and her brothers, Francis, Julius and Maurice LaBranche.

Survivors are a host of nieces and nephews.

Brenda K. Norwood

Services for Brenda K. Norwood, of Silver Creek, are 2 p.m.Friday, Nov. 13, at Crooked Creek Baptist Church in Monticello withburial in Cliburn Cemetery. Community Funeral Services is in chargeof arrangements.

Mrs. Norwood, 51, died Nov. 9, 2009, at her residence. She wasborn in Indiana on March 31, 1958, to Calvin D. “Peanut” Barnettand Helen D. Barnett.

She was a homemaker. She was of Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are a son, Michael A. Norwood Jr.; a daughter, MistyN. Norwood; her brothers, Tommy Barnett and Mike Barnett; and herfour grandchildren, Madison and Tucker Norwood and Taylor and TreyNewell.
