Services for John Thomas Ward, of Silver Creek, are 2 p.m.Thursday, Nov. 19, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Monticello withburial in Arm Cemetery in Silver Creek.

Mr. Ward, 66, died Nov. 17, 2009, at Regency Hospital ofJackson. He was born in Columbia on July 15, 1943, to Thomas ConnWard and Lois Oddis Woodward Ward.

He was a truck driver and retired from the oil field. Mr. Wardserved in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Arm Baptist Church. Mr.Ward was also a Third Degree Master Mason at the Silver CreekLodge.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, Gordan Ward;and his sisters, Hazel Lavonne Ward and Shirley Irene Ward.

Survivors are a son, Jeremy Thomas Ward, of Hot Springs, Ark.; adaughter, Latosha Linderman and husband, Charles, of Silver Creek;a brother, Tarvey Ward, of Silver Creek; his sisters, Myrna Dyess,of Calhoun City, Zona Tirello, of Silver Creek; and his threegrandchildren, Jayde Linderman, Carson Alexander Linderman andCarleigh Linderman, all of Silver Creek.
