Services for Mary Alice Thrasher Dillon, of Bogue Chitto, are 11a.m. Monday, Dec. 7, at Greenwood M.B. Church in Bogue Chitto withburial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday from 1 until 6 p.m. at Williams Mortuary inBrookhaven.

Mrs. Dillon, 55, died Nov. 30, 2009, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb. She was born in Hazlehurst onJan. 27, 1954, to Hardy Thrasher and Ida Mae Davis Thrasher.

She was a 1973 graduate of Brookhaven High School and 1977graduate of Jackson State University. Mrs. Dillon was a licensedsocial worker with the State of Mississippi until she retired tobecome a devoted homemaker. She was a member of Greenwood M.B.Church.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Ida Mae Thrasher; andher father-in-law and mother-in-law, Felo and Viola Dillon.

Survivors are her husband of 32 years, Levi Dillon, of BogueChitto; a son, Adrian Dillon and wife, Jonnell; her father, HardyThrasher Sr. and wife, Carolyn; her brothers, George Thrasher andwife, Rose, of Forrest, Hardy Thrasher Jr., of Granby, Mass.,Jessie Thrasher and wife, Linda, and Ernest Thrasher, all ofBrookhaven; her sisters, Dorothy Quinn and husband, Jerrel, andChristine Thrasher, all of Brookhaven; her four grandchildren; herfive sisters-in-law; her three uncles; her six aunts; and her manynieces, nephews and other relatives.
