Services for Channie L. Cameron Leonard, of McComb, are 11 a.m.Saturday, Dec. 12, at Denwiddie St. Church of Christ with burial inDinah Cemetery. Bro. Anthony M. Johnson will officiate.

Visitation is Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Peoples Funeral HomeChapel with family present from 5 until 6 p.m.

Miss Leonard, 58, died Dec. 1, 2009, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson following a brief illness.She was born in Franklin County on Aug. 29, 1951, to Dorsey CameronSr. and Oris W. Cameron.

She was a former employee of Kellwood Co. working there for 20years.

Preceding her in death were her parents; his sisters, Ada LeeBarnes and Velma Louise Cameron; and a brother-in-law, WilmerQuinn.

Survivors are her sons, Dedrick Cameron Sr. and wife, Nita, andBroderick Leonard and his fiancé, Takesha, both of McComb; herdaughters, Kendra Wright and husband, Rasheem, and Latasha Simmonsand husband, Devon Sr., both of Cheyenne, Wyo.; her sisters, EthelQuinn, of Brandon, Inez Porter and husband, Joe, of Laurel, andVirginia McCray, of McComb; her brothers, Dorsey Cameron Jr. andwife, Margie, of Brookhaven, Ellis Cameron and wife, Ann, FredCameron and wife, Pearlystine, of McComb, Douglas Cameron and wife,Ruby, of Chatawa, and M.D. Cameron and wife, Mae, of Tupelo; her 10grandchildren, Delteisha, Christian, Yasmin, Nyah, Kennedy, DevonJr., Willie, Darius, Dedrick Jr. and Xzavion; an exchange studentwho was like a grandson, Tom Lau; a god sister, Gloria Lull, ofGulfport; her aunts, Cora Lee Davis, of McComb, and Ethel MaeCharleston, of Jackson, and Icie Weatherspoon, of Bude; and a hostof other relatives, church family and friends.
