Services for Jack E. James, of Houma, La., are 2 p.m. Saturday,Dec. 12, at Samart Funeral Home Chapel in Houma, La.

Visitation is Saturday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. James, 64, died Dec. 9, 2009. He was a native ofBrookhaven.

Preceding him in death was his stepfather, James Parnell.

Survivors are his mother, Dorothy Parnell; his sons, Tony Jamesand Jeff James; his brothers, Sherman James and wife, Betty,Charles Ray James and wife, Janet, Douglas James, Roland James andwife, Mary Sue, Bryant Parnell and Phillip Parnell; a sister, PatReece and husband, Rick; his four grandchildren; and agreat-grandchild.
