Services for Josephine G. Montgomery are 2:30 p.m. Friday, Dec.18, at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood withburial in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Mrs. Montgomery, 97, died Dec. 17, 2009, at Indywood Glen inGreenwood. She was born on Sept. 11, 1912, to Charles and NoraGee.

Survivors are her sons, Charles Montgomery Sr. and his wife,Margaret, of Carrollton, and William Montgomery Jr. and his wife,Bettye, of McCarley; her grandchildren, Ellen Hey and husband,David, Andy Montgomery and wife, Nancye, Charlie Montgomery Jr.,Billy Montgomery and wife, Marcie, and Wally Montgomery and wife,Ann; her great-grandchildren, Michelle Hodges and husband,Channing, C.J. Montgomery, Walt Montgomery, Cord Montgomery, AndrewMontgomery, Andrew Montgomery and wife, Anna, Juliana Montgomery,David Hey, Jophy Hey, Elizabeth Hey, Kala Montgomery and Katie LeeMontgomery; and her great-great-grandchildren, Emma Josephine andHannah Grace Hodges.

Pallbearers are Cord Montgomery, Walt Montgomery, David Hey,Jophy Hey, C.J. Montgomery, Andrew Montgomery, Billy Montgomery andChanning Hodges.

Honorary pallbearers are Allan Shackleford, Fred Waggoner, ClintGee, Jody Gee, Orman Gee and John Fair Lucas Jr.

Memorials may be made to the Palmer Home in Columbus, FrenchCamp Academy or donor’s choice.
