Services for Larry Lynn “Skeeter” Halford, of Meadville, were 11a.m. Friday, Dec. 18, at Bude First Baptist Church with burial inMidway Cemetery in Meadville. Franklin Funeral Home was in chargeof arrangements.

Mr. Halford, 62, died Dec. 16, 2009, at Natchez CommunityHospital. He was born in Natchez on Sept. 2, 1947, to Aaron ThomasHalford Jr. and Grace Helen Bonds Halford.

He was a gas salesman for Herring Gas Co. Mr. Halford alsoserved in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Bude First BaptistChurch.

Preceding him in death was his father, Aaron Thomas HalfordJr.

Survivors are his mother; his wife, Debbie Bankston Halford; hisdaughters, Kristi Hester, of Meadville, and Brandi Hollingsworth,of Florence; his brothers, Bud Halford, of Pearl, and JohnnyHalford, of Meadville; his sisters, Alma Cochran, of Pearl, MarthaOakman, of Clinton, and Debbie Adams, of Brookhaven; and his twograndchildren.
