Services for Etta Ruth Smith Burke, of Wesson, are 11 a.m.Monday, Jan. 11, at Clear Branch Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Burke, 73, died Jan. 8, 2010, at her residence. She wasborn on Sept. 9, 1936, to John Emerson Smith and Mamie StanleySmith.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Clear Branch BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her sister, EdwinaCrouch.

Survivors are her husband, Gerald Scott Burke; her sons, ScottBurke and wife, Marie, Chris Burke and wife, Lynn, Brian Burke andwife, Gabe, Kyle Burke and wife, Charissa, and Mark Burke; herdaughter, Leslie Burke Smith; her brothers, John Paul Smith andwife, Bessie, and Russell Smith and wife, Jo, of Austin, Texas; 16grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
