Graveside services for Eula Rushing Smith, of Bogue Chitto, are1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11, at Rawls Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Homeon North Jackson Street is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 9 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m.until noon. Both visitation services will be held at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Smith, 82, died Jan. 8, 2010, at her residence. She wasborn in Lawrence County on Jan. 27, 1927, to Jack Rushing and EulaSmith Rushing.

She was a housewife. She was a member of Faith PentecostalChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, J.P.Smith; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors are her sons, Mervin Smith and Edward Smith, both ofBogue Chitto; her daughter, Brenda Prather, of Bogue Chitto; hersister, Myrtle White, of Brookhaven; nine grandchildren; 14great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
