Graveside services for Hattie Goodwin Dixon, of Minneapolis,Minn., formerly of Brookhaven, are 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, atNew Hope Church Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Tuesday from 1 until 7 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Mrs. Dixon, 64, died Dec. 21, 2009, in Minneapolis. She was bornin Chicago, Ill., on Feb. 28, 1945, to Charlie Moses Goodwin andTheolia Mae Goodwin.

She was a graduate of Progress High School.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and a brother, ThomasLee Goodwin.

Survivors are her husband, Ronald Dixon, of Milwaukee, Wis.; hersons, Ronald Dixon Jr., Ray Dixon and Claude “Mack” Dixon, all ofMilwaukee; her daughters, Kathleen Gayten, of Richmond, Va., AliceRichardson, of Bogue Chitto, and Lisa Dixon, of Minneapolis; herbrothers, Charlie Goodwin, of Chicago, Aldophis Goodwin, of Boston,Mass., Zannie “Butch” Goodwin, Edward Goodwin and Bobby Goodwin,all of Brookhaven; her 11 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; andher many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
