Services for David Corley Sr., of Crystal Springs, are 2 p.m.Saturday, Jan. 16, at R.E. Tyler Funeral Home Chapel in Brookhavenwith burial in Friendship Church Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 5 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Corley, 79, died Jan. 10, 2010, at his residence. He wasborn in Brookhaven on Oct. 10, 1930, to Hosea Corley Sr. and EthelMurry Corley.

He was a retired contractor.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, Hosea CorleyJr.; and his mother- and father-in-law, Louella and JamesNewton.

Survivors are his wife, Mary L. Corley, of Crystal Springs; hissons, David Corley Jr., of Brookhaven, Percy Corley Sr., of BatonRouge, La., Melvin Corley, of New Orleans, La., Donald Corley, ofCrystal Springs, Byron Corley Sr., of Covington, La., and DemetriusCorley, of New Orleans, La.; a daughter, Ciara Corley Guerin, ofHuntsville, Ala.; a brother, Charlie Corley, of Huntsville; and hissisters, Mary Lou Butler, of New Orleans, and Gladys Combre, ofHuntsville; his 15 grandchildren; her 16 great-grandchildren.
