Services for Jesse Alexander, of Jayess, were held at 2 p.m. onWednesday, Feb. 10, at Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Jayess,with burial in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Services wasin charge of arrangements.

Mr. Alexander, 70, died Feb. 7, 2010, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born on Feb. 24,1939, to Clayton Alexander and Leslie Robins Alexander.

He was a retired oilfield motorman. He was a member of CalvaryUnited Pentecostal Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a wife; a brother and asister.

Survivors are his wife, Jean Alexander, of Jayess; his son, PhillipAlexander and companion Joellen Dillon; his daughter, Wanda Millerand husband Kim; his stepdaughter, Angela Dunnaway and husbandDewayne; his brother, Randolph Alexander and wife Linda; hissisters, Willie Ruth Thornhill, and Jo Thornhill and husband Carol;his grandchildren, Candi, Heather, Deanna, Corey and Justin; hisstepgrandchildren, Ashley, Zane and Zachary; twogreat-grandchildren, Hope and Cane; and his great-stepgrandchild,Keegan.
