William David Gordon, 56, a native of Jackson, died Feb. 19,2010, at his residence.

Interment was at Lakewood Memorial Park on Clinton Boulevard,following a graveside service at Lakewood.

He was born on Oct. 3, 1953, to Ernest W. and Helen McCharenGordon.

He attended Wingfield High School, and was a graduate of CentralHigh School. He attended Hinds Community College and the Universityof Southern Mississippi. He was a lifelong member of Alta WoodsPresbyterian Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and a sister, JudithGordon Collins, and her husband, Robert.

Survivors are his brother, Kenneth L. Gordon (Phyllis), of Ruth; anephew, Andrew Gordon (Trena), of Brookhaven; a niece, Allison G.Williams (Jim) and great-niece, Macie Flynn, of Ruth; his aunts,Dorothy M. Weathersby, of Terry, and Rosanne M. Fischer (Henry), ofJackson, and a host of cousins.
