Services for Elise “Lisa” May Marshall, of Houston, Texas, andformerly of Bogue Chitto, are 1 p.m. Saturday, March 6 at WilliamsMortuary Chapel in Brookhaven, with burial in Topisaw/MarshillCemetery in Ruth.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Marshall, 53, died Feb. 23, 2010, at Cypress Fairbanks MedicalCenter in Houston. She was born in Lincoln County on July 21, 1956,to Sammie May and Lillie Tolliver May.

She attended Lincoln County Training School, and was a graduate ofJohn McDonough High School in New Orleans, La.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brother, Richard May;and three grandchildren.

Survivors are her husband, Wilfe Marshall, of Houston; herchildren, Christopher May, Mona Lisa Rovaris, Shandrick May,Jessica May and Gaberiel May, all of Baton Rouge, La. and JonathanMay, of Houston; her brothers, James May, of Brookhaven, T.L. Mayand wife Rosalind, of New Orleans, La., and Harold May, ofLouisville, Ky.; her sisters, Doris May, Charlesten McKenzie andhusband Billy, and Stella May, all of New Orleans, Bessie Evans andhusband Willie, and Effie Poole and husband Joe, all of Brookhaven,and Elizabeth Fortenberry, of Little Rock, Ark.; her stepmother,Linda Ruth May, of Bogue Chitto; her stepbrothers, Anthony May, ofRuth, Ricky Dell May, of San Antonio, Texas, and Michael May,Derrick May and Darrell May, all of Brookhaven; and her stepsister,Amanda May, of Brookhaven.
