Services for Clinton C. Brown, of Crystal Springs, are 11 a.m.Wednesday, March 10, at Stringer Family Funeral Home Chapel inCrystal Springs, with burial in Gallman Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Brown, 81, died March 7, 2010, at Mississippi Baptist MedicalCenter in Jackson.

Mr. Brown was a native of Lincoln County and had lived in CrystalSprings for 52 years. He owned and operated C.C. Brown Constructionfor 35 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a memberof Gallman Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Betty Brown; his sons Dale Brown and RoyBrown and wife Renee, all of Crystal Springs, and Billy Brown andwife Joy, of Villa Rica, Ga.; his daughters, Cindy McAlpin andhusband Larry, of Crystal Springs, Debbie Pridgen and husbandAubrey, of Brandon, and Dana Bowman and husband Ben, of Loyd Star;his brother, Clem Brown, of Monticello; his sisters, Causie LeeJohnson, of Foxworth and LaVerne Niehaus, of Sontag; his 14grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces andnephews.
