Services for Leola Weathersby, of New Hebron, are 11 a.m.Wednesday, March 17, at North Pleasant Hill Missionary BaptistChurch in Oma, with burial in the church cemetery. WilliamsMortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday from 1 until 7 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Homein Prentiss.

Mrs. Weathersby, 71, died March 11, 2010, at Jefferson DavisHospital in Prentiss. She was born in Lawrence County on March 6,1939, to Eugene Weathersby and Marie Smith Weathersby.

She was retired. She was a member of North Pleasant Hill M.B.Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her sisters, BettyFoster, Josie Lee Weathersby, Mamie Lee Weathersby, Mary NellWeathersby and Coreen Weathersby.

Survivors are her sons, Lee Det Walker, and Harold Walker and wife,Shirley, all of New Hebron; her daughters, Ola Pearl Weathersby, ofMendenhall, and Jean Weathersby and Deloris Longino, both of NewHebron; her sister, Ruby Smith and husband, the Rev. Henry Smith,of Oma; and her seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
