Services for Eula Ashworth Furr, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Thursday, March 18, at Rush Funeral Home in Oakdale, La., withburial in Willis Flat Cemetery, Plainview Community. CommunityFuneral Services handled local arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday from noon until the time of the service atthe funeral home.

Mrs. Furr, 85, died March 16, 2010, at Brook Manor Nursing Center.She was born in Oakdale on Oct. 23, 1924, to Jesse Ashworth andEllie Ashworth.

She was retired from Stahl-Urban Manufacturing Company after 20years of service.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Eddie SextonFurr; her son; and her great-granddaughter.

She is survived by her son, Bobby Ray Martin; her daughters,Shirley Furr, Thelma Swan, Ellie Mohon and Betty Williams; herbrothers, Ernest Ashworth, Sonny Ashworth, Clement Ashworth, LeonAshworth, and Adolf Ashworth; her sisters, Joyce Gable, Nancy Odom,and Bertha Gonzales; and her 17 grandchildren and 20great-grandchildren.
