Services for Helen S. Robin, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. Friday,March 19, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Brookhaven,with burial in the Catholic cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is incharge of arrangements.

Visitors are welcomed on Friday one hour before the memorialservices at the church.

Mrs. Robin passed away peacefully on March 17, 2010, at SilverCross Home in Brookhaven. She was the beloved wife of Sam B. Robin.She was born in Brookhaven on Oct. 23, 1920, to Granberry Smith andEula Smith Smith.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Francis of AssisiCatholic Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; her son,Louis Robin; her brother, Ed Smith; and her sister, WinnieSmith.

Survivors are her children, Sr. Helene Marie Robin, SSND, BerthaLee Robin, Joseph Robin, Brother Samuel Robin, CSC, Mary Foster andhusband Chester, Thomas Robin and wife Shelia, Helen “Nonnie”Chalmers and husband Bill, Johnny Robin and wife Jennifer, Charles”Chuck” Robin and wife Jayne, and Teresa Bell and husband Phillip;her brothers, Hoyt Smith and Dewey Smith; her sister, BerniceCalcote; her grandchildren, Mike Foster, Robin Rath, Brandi Smith,Sam, Josh and Danielle Robin, and Brandt Robin; and her sevengreat-grandchildren.
