Marty William Beeson

Services for Marty William Beeson, of Brookhaven, are 10:30 a.m.Tuesday, March 30, at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, withburial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service isin charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Beeson, 52, died March 27, 2010, at his residence. He was bornon June 11. 1957.

He was a retired captain of Brookhaven Fire Department. He was acertified Smoke Diver; NIMS 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, 800; CPRcertified; State Fire Academy 1001; Pump Operator certified; AmtrakPassenger Response; Railroad Safety for First Response; LP GasTraining; and Chlorine Gas Training.

He was a member of Pleasant Grove Methodist Church.

Preceding him in death were his father, William Cullen Beeson; andhis daughter, Misty Diane Beeson Bounds.

Survivors are his wife, Elizabeth Ann Price Beeson; his mother,Annie Marie Allgood Beeson; his sons, James Patrick Beeson andMatthew Aubrey Beeson; his daughter, Katherine Denise BeesonReynolds and husband, R.J.; his brothers, James Ray Beeson, Joe PatBeeson, Gary Wayne Beeson and Randy Mark Beeson; his grandchildren,Grace Bounds, Hunter Bounds, Samuel Bounds, Elizabeth Bounds,Adrianna Reynolds; and his son-in-law, Lance Bounds and wife,Robin.

Glendon Harold Godbold

Services for Glendon Harold Godbold, of Clinton, are 10 a.m.Tuesday, March 30, at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home on HighStreet in Jackson, with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park.

Visitation is Monday from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Godbold, 88, was welcomed into Heaven on March 25, 2010, by hisLord, and his life’s love, Martha Jean, after passing away at homein Clinton.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II. He spent timein the Pacific Theater, including Pearl Harbor, Guam and thePhilippines. He was a career meterman with Mississippi Power andLight beginning in 1946 and retiring 38 years later. A longtimemember of Riverside Independent Methodist Church, Glen was always afaithful servant of God.

He was the loving father of Mark and Cindy Godbold, of Pearl, andMichelle and Steve Gawarecki, of Ft. Lauderdale, and the proudgrandfather of Carrie and Tom Rowden, of Jackson, Adam and LindseyGodbold, of Atlanta, and Christopher Gawarecki, of Ft. Lauderdale.He also loved his great-grandchildren, Imogene, Aidan and EmeryGodbold, of Atlanta.

His family asks that any memorials be made to his church at P.O.Box 321180, Flowood, MS 39232.

Amarion De’Marquez Lee

Graveside services for Amarion De’Marquez Lee, of Brookhaven, are11 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Brookhaven.Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Amarion, 2 months old, died March 25, 2010, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center in Brookhaven. He was born in Brookhaven on Jan. 7,2010.

Survivors are his mother, Adrieanne Lee, of Brookhaven; his father,Lyndon “Wayne” Johnson, of Silver Creek; his stepfather, Phelan DruGanier, of Hazlehurst; his sister, Amarianna Lee, of Brookhaven;his grandparents, Patricia Crossley and Lee Edward Crossley, bothof Brookhaven, Lyndon B. Johnson, of Prentiss, KatherineMontgomery, of Silver Creek, Evorice Ganier Kyles and Roy Kyles,both of Hazlehurst; his great-grandparents, Edna Hooks, ofBrookhaven, James Edward Smith, of Hazlehurst, and Ruby Johnson, ofPrentiss; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Jena Lynn Presley Norton

Services for Jena Lynn Presley Norton, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Tuesday, March 30, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Brookhaven, withburial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service isin charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Norton, 54, died March 26, 2010, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. She was born on June 4, 1955, to A.J.Presley and Edith Mae Britt.

She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, and her son, Jonathan ClayNorton.

Survivors are her husband, John A. Norton; her daughters, SarahNorton Adams and Lori Norton Smith; her brothers, Dan Presley andDon Presley; her sister, Nancy McKenzie; her half-brother, AndyPresley; her half sisters, Mary Ann Presley and June Jones; and hergrandchildren, Preston Adams, Cole Adams, Allison Adams, AnnaAdams, Brittany Adams, Kayla Adams, Alyssa Smith and JoshuaSmith.
