Dorothy Irene Jones Turnbough Bryant

Services for Dorothy Irene Jones Turnbough Bryant, of Brookhaven,are 11 a.m. Saturday, April 3, at St. Mark Missionary BaptistChurch in Brookhaven, with burial in Cool Springs Church Cemeteryin McCall Creek. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home, withfamily hour from 6 until 7 p.m.

Mrs. Bryant, 74, died March 27, 2010, at her residence. She wasborn on June 14, 1935, to Leon Jones and Lorena Smith.

She was retired, and a member of St. Mark M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her adoptive parents,Lloyd and Louisa Cole; her husband, John Bryant; and her adoptivebrother, Willie Jones.

Survivors are her husband, Roosevelt Turnbough, of Salt Lake City,Utah; her brothers, Billy Jones and wife Addie, of Champaign, Ill.,and Herbert Lee and wife Cynthia, of Chicago, Ill.; her halfsisters, Irma Johnson, of Brookhaven, and Merque Johnson, of UnionChurch; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives andfriends.
