SFC Charles Herbert Campbell, U.S. Army (Ret.)



Graveside funeral services for SFC Charles Herbert Campbell, U.S.Army (Ret.), of Carrollton, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April5, at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery at Carrollton, with fullmilitary honors. The Revs. Eli Wiltshire and Calvin Collins willofficiate the services. Oliver Funeral Home, of Winona, is incharge of arrangements.



A visitation will be held at Oliver Funeral Home on Monday from 11a.m. until 1 p.m.

Mr. Campbell died of cancer at his residence on Friday, April 2,2010. He was 81 years old.

He was the son of the late Tilman and Mattie Campbell and a nativeof Carroll County. He was a retired U.S. Army sergeant first classand 
a member of Providence Baptist Church in Carrollton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by hisdaughter, Edna Lynn Campbell 
Horne; and a sister, RuthCarpenter.



Survivors include his wife, Ursula Campbell, of Carrollton; threedaughters, Loreen Wedgeworth, of Nashville, Tenn., Anna Giust, ofBrookhaven, and Janet 
Smith, of Brookhaven; two sons, Calvin HansCampbell, of Carrollton and John Campbell, of Thorsby, Ala.; onesister, Patsy Ann Corley, of Carrollton; 
nine grandchildren; andseven great-grandchildren.
