The communities join in extending sincere and heartfelt sympathyto the following families.

Remember the Robinson/Williams families in the recent death oftheir loved one, Clara Williams Robinson. She was a descendent ofLiberty, where she and her siblings were reared and received theirformal education. After marrying Deacon Robert Earl Robinson, shemoved to Brookhaven, where they reared their three children, RobertEarl Jr., Terry and Thomas. She became a longtime member ofDamascus M.B. Church, along with the Robinson family, where sheserved faithfully. Robert and Clara were wonderful parents, lovinggrandparents and excellent great-grandparents.

Remember the Dixon/Adams families in loving memory of their lovedone, Lucille Adams Dixon, who was buried recently. Mrs. Dixon was alifetime resident of Lincoln County, where she received hereducation and reared her children, along with her husband of 61years, Alve Lee Dixon. She was a dutiful and faithful member ofMount Wade Missionary Baptist Church, where she served in manycapacities.

Condolences to the Ford/Beard families in the recent loss of theirdear loved one, Samuel “Sam” Ford II. He was born and reared inLouisiana where he received his formal education and started in thework force. He later moved to Chicago, Ill., where he lived for anumber of years. He was married to his wife, Alberta B. Ford, andthey moved from Chicago, to Brookhaven, where they remained untilhis death. They were proud parents and grandparents.

Sympathy to the Perkins/Williams families in the recent death oftheir loved one, Velma Miller Perkins Williams, who was born inPike County, to Murry and Corine Miller. She was 95 years old and alongtime warrior on the battlefield for her Lord and Savior. Shewas married and to this union 10 children were born, one whopreceded her in death. She was a beautiful mother, mother-in-law,grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister,cousin, sister-in-law and friend.

Eva H. Harris Alumni will meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Lincoln CountyPublic Library. The president, Curtis Tyner, is asking all formerteachers and alumni to please be present. The next reunion isplanned for July 2011.

Upkins, the Rev.Robert Daniels, Marvin Dixon, Michael Harvey II, Darlene DixonGraham, the choir, the crowd and more. Directors are the Rev. T.Shannon Webb, Carolyn B. Humphries, Gwen Smith, Irma Powell,Melinda Dixon and Sister Norman Daniels. If you miss this biblicalentertainment, you will have missed a huge treat. Refreshments willbe served.
