Sheila Smith

Services for Sheila Smith, a longtime resident of Central, La., are11 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church inBaton Rouge, La., with burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. GreenoaksFuneral Home in Baton Rouge is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home, andon Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of theservice.

She died April 9, 2010, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional MedicalCenter. She was born in Brookhaven on May 25, 1949.

She was a 1967 graduate of Istrouma High School and a member of St.Alphonsus Catholic Church. She will always be remembered for hernatural beauty and love for her family. She will also be rememberedfor giving more than she received.

Preceding her in death were her father, Dennis Smith Sr.; and hergrandparents, Ira and Hazel Lofton Smith, and Fred and RenaWilkinson Brent.

Survivors are her mother, Jemima Brent Smith; her daughters, LoriMorales Ordoyne and husband Dwayne, and Nicole Morales Colkmire andhusband Steve; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis and Cindy,Butch, Greg and Sylvia, Tracy, Flint and Susan, and Randy andKathy; her grandchildren, Maci Ann Ordoyne, Morgan Nicole Davis,Brittany Lynn Colkmire and Steven Cade Colkmire; and numerousaunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
