Services for Shawn Blair Brown, of Brookhaven, are 1 p.m.Wednesday, April 14, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel,with burial in Rosehill Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Brown, 37, died April 11, 2010, at his residence. He was bornon April 25, 1972 to Lewis W. Brown and Mary Ruth Mott Brown.

He was a drilling fluids consultant with National Oilwell Varco(NOV). For a number of years he was a K-9 Narcotics Officer withthe Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department. He also served with theUnited States Marshals Service. He was a member of Sigma ChiFraternity. He was a member of Fair River Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his grandfather, Junius W. Brown, ofBrookhaven; his grandmother, Audrey Lee Brown, of Brookhaven; andhis grandfather, Cleveland Mott, of Silas, Ala.

Survivors are his parents; his wife, Heather Vaughn Brown; his son,Payton Mott Brown; his daughters, Nealey Blair Brown and LaurenElizabeth Brown; and his grandmother, Nell Mott, of Silas.
