Services for Bobby Bruce Sasser, of Bogue Chitto, are 11 a.m.Tuesday, April 20, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel withburial in Bogue Chitto Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Sasser, 71, died April 16, 2010, at his residence. He was bornon Nov. 21, 1938, to Vivian Alba Sasser and Dorothy McClellandSasser.

He lived in Chicago for 38 years, where he worked as a pressoperator for Ford Motor Company in Chicago Heights, Ill., for 37years. After retiring in January 1997, he suffered a stroke in Julyof the spinal cord and was paralyzed as a result. He and his wife,Jaunita, moved to Bogue Chitto in 1999.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Jaunita Garcia Sasser; hisparents, Dot and V.A. (Pistol) Sasser; his brother, Albert RaySasser, of Austin, Texas; and his nephew, Tim Sasser, ofSummit.

Survivors are his daughters, Sherri Giroux, of Kingsland, Ga., andSharron; his brothers, James William (Billy) Sasser and wife,Charlene, of Bogue Chitto, and Charles Paul Sasser and wife, Pat,of Bosque Farms, N.M.; his sister, Dorothy Milling, of Hattiesburg;and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to any animalshelter.
