Services for Sharon Carney Ross, of Monticello, are 2 p.m.Monday, April 19, at New Hope Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Ms. Ross, 57, died April 17, 2010, at her residence. She was bornin Tylertown on June 22, 1952, to Willie Carney and Carolyn CattCarney.

She was a high school graduate. She was in insurance sales forDirect General in McComb. She was a member of New Hope BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death was her father.

Survivors are her mother, Carolyn Catt Carney, of Monticello; herdaughter, Shelley Rutland Miller, of Monticello; her grandson, TyMiller, age 13, of Monticello; her granddaughter, Melissa Miller,age 15, of Monticello; and her brother, Mickey Allen Carney, ofMonticello.
