Services for Earnest Christopher Peavy, of Prentiss, are 11 a.m.Sunday, May 2, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in FloralHills Cemetery in Pearl.

Visitation is Sunday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service atthe funeral home.

Mr. Peavy, 50, died April 30, 2010, at his residence. He was bornin Jackson on April 21, 1960.

He was a welder at Jefcoat in Pearl. He was a member of SanteeIndependent Baptist Church in Prentiss.

Preceding him in death was his father, Earnest Peavy; his daughter,Alisha Peavy; and his granddaughter, Marissa.

Survivors are his mother, Carolyn Sanders Peavy, of Prentiss; hisson, Andrew Peavy, of Magee; his daughter, Christina Runnels, ofMonticello; his brothers, Timmy Peavy and Danny Peavy, both ofPrentiss, and Robert Peavy, of Jackson; and his grandchildren, JohnRamsey, Sebastian Paul, Noah Ray, Lexie, and Mya.
