Services for Mary Ethelyne White, of Jackson, were held at 11a.m. on Monday, May 10, at Community Funeral Services Chapel, withgraveside services at 1:30 p.m. at Bethel Temple Cemetery inHazlehurst, followed by interment at 2 p.m.

Mrs. White, 77, died May 8, 2010, in Jackson. She was born inMississippi on May 28, 1932, to John Havery White and Mary AlyeneWhite.

She was disabled. She was a member of Bethel Temple Church inHazlehurst.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her son, Rick; her sister,Willie Jean McKinzie; and her brothers, Tony and Otis White.

Survivors are her daughters, Carol Simmons and Serebo Barrett; herbrother, Clifton White; and her six grandchildren and 13great-grandchildren.
