Services for Lovie B Davis Martin, of Wesson, formerly of theHeuck’s Retreat area, were 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 11, atBrookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on North Jackson Street, with burialin Easthaven Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Mrs. Martin, 70, died May 9, 2010, at Brook Manor Nursing Center inBrookhaven. She was born in Brookhaven on June 7, 1939, to E.C.Davis and Edna Lewis Davis.

She was a homemaker and a member of Heuck’s Retreat BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her daughters, VivianDenise Martin and Pamela Diane Martin; her sister andbrother-in-law, Mildred Davis White and L.B. White; hersister-in-law, Mary Knight Davis; and her nephews, Troy Mikel Whiteand Brent Davis.

Survivors are her husband Marvin O. Martin, of Wesson; her brother,Luther E. “Buddy” Davis, of Brandon; her niece, Donna Ballard andhusband Bart; her niece-in-law, Gail Maxwell White; her nephews,Glen White and Terry Smith; her special niece, Janet and A.C.Currie, of Wesson; her brother-in-law, Charles Martin and wifeShirley; her sister-in-law, Olivia Newman; and her special friends,Becky and Jimmy Broome.
