Services for Irma Buie, of Brookhaven, will be held at noon onSaturday, May 15, at Beulah Chapel Missionary Baptist Church inBrookhaven, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brookhaven. R.E.Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 5 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Buie, 86, died May 9, 2010, at her residence. She was born inCopiah County on Aug. 10, 1923, to Love Buie and Herthie JacksonBuie.

She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, James V.Adams; her brothers, Troy D. Buie and Earl Norwood; her sisters,Pinkie D. Walker and Pearl Norwood; and her daughter, IrmaSanders.

Survivors are her son, James Smith, of Brookhaven; her daughters,Johnnie Mae Rollins and Shirley Nelson, both of Brookhaven; hersister, Earthie Lee Gilmore, of Crystal Springs; her 20grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
