Christy Sweeney and Matt Taylor, both of Brookhaven, announcetheir engagement and approaching marriage.

She is the daughter of Barry and Jenny Sweeney, of Brookhaven,and the granddaughter of Gordon and Norma Sweeney, ofBrookhaven.

He is the son of Irene Taylor, of Brookhaven.

The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Brookhaven High School anda 2010 graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She iscurrently employed with Brookhaven First Assembly of God.

The prospective groom is a 2007 graduate of EnterpriseAttendance Center. He is employed as a salesman with LegacyToyota.

The wedding is 2 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2010, at BrookhavenFirst Assembly of God. A reception will be held at the churchimmediately following the ceremony.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding andthe reception.
