Trim, Brewer

Sydney Michelle Brewer and David Edward Trim were united inmarriage on Saturday, May 1, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Cranfield BaptistChurch in Natchez.

The bride is the daughter of Anson and Sheila Brewer, ofBrookhaven.

The groom is the son of David Trim, of Port Gibson, and WendyTrim, of Natchez.

The Rev. Curt Wilson officiated the ceremony.

Morgan Barron, cousin of the bride, was vocalist.

The church was decorated with several asparagus ferns placed indecorative copper pots on wrought iron stands, with an arrangementof fresh white, pale pink and hot pink roses as centerpiece. Pewmarkers were made with tulle and fresh white roses.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white satinstrapless gown, with a pick-up skirt and a black beaded sash at thewaist. She carried a bouquet of white, hot pink and pale pink rosesthat were bound with a white satin ribbon, and fastened with a rowof white pearl pins. Also included in her bouquet was ahandkerchief that was given to her by her grandmother when she wasborn.

Serving as maid of honor was Anna Calcote, best friend of thebride, of Brookhaven. Bridesmaids were Kelsea Pounds, cousin of thebride, of Ferriday, La., and Emma Trim, sister of the groom, ofNatchez.

Flower girl was Madisyn Altman, of Brookhaven.

The attendants wore black satin strapless dresses with ruchedwaists and pockets. They carried bouquets of fresh hot pink andwhite roses that were hand-tied with white satin ribbon, with a rowof white pearl pins fastening them.

Best man was Luke Weeks, best friend of the groom, ofBrookhaven.

Groomsmen were Zack Trim, of Vicksburg, and Will Brewer, brotherof the bride, of Brookhaven.

Ring bearer was Michael Seguin, cousin of the bride, ofFerriday.

Ushers were Ken Britt and Jeremy James, both of Brookhaven.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the churchfellowship hall. The bride’s cake was composed of three squaretiers, with black ribbons at the base of each tier. The cake topperwas an arrangement of fresh white, pale pink and hot pink roses.The groom’s grandmother made punch for the small, intimatereception.

On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was held at Cockof the Walk in Natchez.

The couple has made their home in Brookhaven.
