McGregor Gillett ‘Greg’ Anthony

On Friday, May 21, 2010, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Centerin Knoxville, Tenn., McGregor Gillett “Greg” Anthony, 57,peacefully released the bonds of this mortal coil, makingtransition to the pure positive energy of the realm of the angels,Jesus and the Creator.

His parents, Audrey Lucille Lewis Anthony and Jerold Cedric AnthonySr., and brother, Jerold Cedric Anthony Jr., precede him indeath.

Survivors are his brother, Stephen Lewis Anthony and his wifeSusan, of Knoxville; his nephew, Eric Stephen Anthony and niece,Scarlet Caroline Anthony, both of Raleigh, N.C.; and severalcousins.

He was a graduate of Brookhaven High School and Copiah-LincolnJunior College in Wesson. Greg worked for almost 20 years in theCustomer Service Department of First Tennessee Bank. Nature’sbeauty provided continuing blessings for Greg and the birds, trees,flowers, and sounds all were a source of joy for this gentlesoul.

Greg was fortunate to have his loving friends, Delrose Green,Janine Zbranak, and Patty and Tony Binge, and he appreciated allhis kind and supportive friends and co-workers at First Link.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, May 30, 2010, at3 p.m., with Stephen Anthony, Executive Director, officiating, atthe OASIS Institute, 4928 Homberg Drive, Knoxville, 865-588-7707,www.oasisinstitute.org.

In lieu of flowers his family encourages memorials to be given asgestures of kindness in the form each friend deemsappropriate.
