Funeral services for Cheryl Thompson Rabalais, of Brookhaven,are 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 10, at Community Funeral ServicesChapel, with burial in New Sight Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Rabalais, 62, died June 6, 2010, at her residence. She wasborn in Copiah County on Aug. 6, 1947, to Walter Eugene Thompsonand Minnie Irene Davis Thompson.

She was a homemaker and was employed with R and M Vendors. Shewas a member of New Sight Baptist Church in Brookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and sisters, Sara GeneBrown, Linda Smith and Louise Hux.

Survivors are her husband, James “Jim” Rabalais, of Brookhaven;her sons, Bryant Woods, of Brookhaven, DeLynn Woods, of Brandon,and David Woods, of Jayess; her sister, Joyce Honie, of Jackson;her grandchildren, Nickolais Woods, Daniel Woods, Maggie Woods andAnsley Ainsworth; and a longtime family friend, GlennaMayberry.
