Funeral services for Willis Calcote, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.on Saturday, June 12, at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, inBrookhaven, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brookhaven. R.E.Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 7 p.m. at the funeral home,with family present from 6 until 7 p.m.

Mr. Calcote, 46, died June 7, 2010, at the emergency room at King’sDaughters Medical Center in Brookhaven. He was born in Wesson onSept. 13, 1963, to John McGee and Annie Bell WilliamsCalcote.

He had worked for a number of years at State Bank and Trust Co.,but was disabled at the time of his death. He was a veteran of theUnited States Army.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brother, JohnnyCalcote; and his sister, Alberta Howard.

Survivors are his wife, Tammy Kelly Calcote, of Brookhaven; hissons, Richard “Shon” Calcote, John Calcote, Kalen Calcote, ChrisCalcote, Wesley Calcote and Elijah Calcote, all of Brookhaven; hisdaughter, Raquel E. Calcote, of Brookhaven; his brothers, LouisCalcote, of Brookhaven, and Frederick Calcote, of Winona; hissisters, Christine Calcote and Barbara Johnson, both of Brookhaven;his stepbrother, David Calcote, of Brookhaven; his stepsister,Brenda Chatmon, of Brookhaven; and one grandchild.
