Funeral services for Harriet Sue Davis, of Monticello, were 11a.m. on Wednesday, June 23, at Monticello Baptist Church, withburial in church cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello was incharge of arrangements.

Mrs. Davis, 62, died June 21, 2010, at Mississippi Baptist MedicalCenter in Jackson. She was born in Olathe, Kan., on April 26, 1948,to Roy Hay and Alice Williamson Jameson.

She was a retired kindergarten teacher, having worked for 20 yearswith Monticello Baptist Church. She was a member of MonticelloBaptist Church, and was the teacher for the 5-year-old Sundayschool class for 40 years. She worked with Body and Soul inMonticello. She was a member of Gideons International for 40years.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Jackie Davis; her sons, John Mark Davis,of Summit, and Robert Nathaniel Davis, of Monticello; her sisters,Norrene Voll, of Liberty, and Johnette Brock, of Tylertown; and hergranddaughter, Morgann E. Davis, of Summit.
