Funeral services for Joe E. “Gene” Seale, of Meadville, are 11a.m. on Friday, June 25, at Meadville Baptist Church FellowshipHall, with burial in Midway Cemetery in Meadville. Franklin FuneralHome in Meadville is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the church fellowshiphall.

Mr. Seale, 78, died June 23, 2010, at Franklin County MemorialHospital in Meadville. He was born in Franklin County on June 17,1932, to Clyde Seale and Audra McCall Seale.

He was a retired farmer and a member of Meadville BaptistChurch.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Margaret Seale;an infant son, Jack; a brother, Jack; and a grandson, NigelWentworth.

Survivors are his son, Jimmy Rand Seale and wife Jo Ann, ofMeadville; his daughter, JoAnn Wentworth and husband Hal “Wimpy,”of Meadville; his brothers, Don Seale and James Seale; hisgrandsons, Jamie Seale, Jeremy Seale and Yancey Wentworth, all ofMeadville; his great-grandchildren, Madelyn Seale, Peyton Nicklesand Jacob Seale.

Pallbearers are Yancey Wentworth, Jamie Seale, Jeremy Seale, BarneyHill, Wimpy Wentworth and Short Mullins.

Honorary pallbearers are Dunk Wallace, Harry Wells, Buck Steele,Philip Price, Les Hill, Tony Smith and Calvin Oglesby.
