Funeral services for Vera Thompson, of Jackson, are 11 a.m. onMonday, June 28, at St. Luther Missionary Baptist Church inJackson, with burial in Garden Memorial Park Cemetery in Jackson.The Rev. Debra Palmer will officiate. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home is incharge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from noon until 5 p.m. at the funeral home,and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at thechurch.

Mrs. Thompson, 90, died June 20, 2010, at Hospice Ministries inRidgeland. She was born in Marion County on Sept. 4, 1919.
