The Lincoln County Nationals cruised to a 15-7 Monday win overthe McComb Nationals in the Dixie Youth Baseball AA 9s District SixTournament. Their series started Monday on the Bank of BrookhavenField at Keystone Park in Brookhaven.

The Nationals plays again today against McComb at 6 p.m. on FieldTwo at McComb. If there is a third game, a coin toss will decidewho will host the final game.

Nationals 15, McComb 7

The Lincoln Nationals were led by winning pitcher Dane Smith with astrong pitching performance, collecting nine strikeouts and walkingfive.

Dalton East was the losing pitcher for McComb with two strikeoutsand four walks to his credit.

Keegan Smith produced the offensive firepower for Lincoln Nationalswith a triple and a single. Dylan Case also contributed with adouble and a single.

The other National hitters were Colin Britt, two singles; DaneSmith, double; Krishalon Jackson, double; Sam Adcock, single; HadenWaldon, single; John Hilbert, single.

The McComb Nationals were ledd by Marquis McNeil and Dalton Eastwith a double apiece. The other hits were from Matal Garcia andKran Howell with a single apiece.
