Judith Greaves, 69, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at her home aftera long illness. Visitation will be held from 9 until 11 a.m. atFlora United Methodist Church in Flora, with graveside services atFlora Cemetery following the visitation.
Mrs. Greaves was born in Missouri and was reared in Brookhaven,where she graduated from Brookhaven High School. After high school,she received further education in Jackson, where she began a careeras an X-ray technician and mammographer. She worked as the head ofthe mammography department for several hospitals in the Jacksonarea, including St. Dominic, University Medical Center, and 17years with the Baptist Hospital before moving to Jackson Healthcarefor Women.
Of her many loves, she adored her grandson, Anthony. She lovedhunting and fishing, being outdoors, camping, skiing and riding herhorses.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and VirginiaTurner.
Her survivors include her husband, Charles Scott Greaves Jr., ofFlora; her daughter, Robbie Terranova, of Flora; her grandson,Anthony Terranova III, of Flora; her sister-in-law, Liz Morgan andher husband, Clarence, of Summit; her nephews, Scott Tompkins andhis wife, Rhonda, and Michael Goins; and her great-niece, LillieLizabeth Tompkins.
