Funeral services for Genevieve Case Calcote, of Wesson, are 11a.m. on Thursday, July 15, at New Hope United Methodist Church inBrookhaven with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Calcote, 87, died peacefully at her home on July 11, 2010. Shewas born in Mississippi on May 21, 1923, to Rivers H. Case andRuthie Allen Case.

She was retired. She was a member of New Hope United MethodistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Virgil R.Calcote; her sister, Agnes Smith; and her brother, JamesCase.

Survivors are her sons, Virgil Landon Calcote and wife, Virginia,Jerry Glen Calcote, and Robert Louis Calcote and wife, BobbieJeanette; her daughter, Magruda Calcote Spillers; her sisters,Dorothy Calcote, Betty Criswell and Faye Stroud; her grandchildren,Jeff Calcote, Carmen Lewis, Jerry Calcote, Ginger Parmentier, AngieCalcote, Jennifer Calcote, Marva Lynn Britt, Mona Shedd, MelanieSmith and Melissa Porter; 24 great-grandchildren; and fourgreat-great-grandchildren.
