Funeral services for Robert William Smith Jr., of Fresno,Calif., and formerly of Hazlehurst, are 11 a.m. on Thursday, July22, at Second Baptist Church in Brookhaven, with burial inHazlehurst City Cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from 1 until 8 p.m., with family presentfrom 7 until 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Smith, 61, died July 13, 2010, at the University of MississippiMedical Center in Jackson. He was born in Hazlehurst on April 24,1949.
