Graveside services for Walter Carroll “Dude” Wallace, of BogueChitto, are 10 a.m. on Friday, July 23, at Bethel Baptist ChurchCemetery in Bogue Chitto. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is incharge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Wallace, 79, died July 21, 2010, at River Region Medical Centerin Vicksburg. He was born in Bogue Chitto on Feb. 3, 1930, toEdward Eugene Wallace and Rubye Mae McFadden Wallace.

He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was a veteran of theKorean War, serving in the United States Army.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Edward and Rubye Wallace;his brother, Maxie Wallace; and his sisters, Nellie Sasser and AnnBrown.

Survivors are his brother, J.B. Wallace; his sister, Patsy JeanWallace; his niece, Nancy Sasser Fenwick; and his nephews, Tommyand Steve Sasser.
