Funeral services for Sawyer Keith Dyess, of Brookhaven, are 10a.m. on Wednesday, July 28, at Union Hall Baptist Church inBrookhaven, with burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven FuneralHome on Natchez Drive is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home andWednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at thechurch.

Mr. Dyess, 15, died July 25, 2010. He was born in Brookhaven onOct. 22, 1994.

He was a student at Brookhaven High School. He was a member of thejunior varsity football team and the high school football team atBrookhaven High. He was a member of Union Hall BaptistChurch.

Preceding him in death were his grandfathers, Carl Z. Dyess andJames Carroll Jackson.

Survivors are his parents, Carlton Jerome Dyess and Shirley OleneJackson Dyess; his brother, Lane Dyess, of Brookhaven; hisgrandmothers, Gwen Dyess, of Brookhaven, and Nancy Jackson, ofSontag; his aunt, Darla and Hubert Buford, of Brookhaven; hisuncles, James and Jennifer Jackson, of Laurel, and Rosco andMelanie Jackson, of Brookhaven; several cousins; and manyfriends.

Memorials may be made to the youth fund at Union Hall BaptistChurch.
