Shirley Henry Kreamer, 71, a native and resident of Houma, La.,died at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2010.

She was buried in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, La.

Mrs. Kreamer is survived by one son, Kevin Michael Kreamer andwife, Juanita, of Gulfport; her daughter, Sharlene Kreamer Marceland husband, Dean, of Houma; her grandchildren, Heather Sorto,Amber Hopkins, Matthew Marcel and Natalie Kreamer; and fivegreat-grandchildren, Hannah Sorto, Haleigh Sorto, Emma Lee Sorto,Addison Sorto and Gabriel Alexander Hopkins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore “T.J.” JamesKreamer; and her parents, Ruffin Henry and Calicia KreamerHenry.

Mrs. Kreamer was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous CatholicChurch. She was a devoted wife and mother whose strength and lovewere an inspiration to all who knew her.

She was a teacher’s aide at Loyd Star Elementary School for manyyears and was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi CatholicChurch for many years before returning to Houma.
