Funeral services for James Earl “Piewho” Smith, of New Orleans,La., and formerly of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7,at New Vision Fellowship Center in Brookhaven, with burial inHillcrest Cemetery in Brookhaven. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Smith, 64, died July 31, 2010, at Ochsner Medical Center in NewOrleans. He was born in Copiah County on Oct. 2, 1945.
