Evon White, who was born Sept. 15, 1928, and departed this lifeon Aug. 8, 2010, had attained the age of 81 years. Mr. White was alifelong resident of Brookhaven, where he owned and operated hisseptic tank business for more than 50 years.

Mr. White is survived by his wife, Helen W. White; his son, DavidWhite and wife, Gale, of Brookhaven; two stepdaughters, Tina L.Sutton and husband, Roger, of Crocker, Mo., and Gina L. Cole, ofSt. Louis, Mo.; his grandsons, Darron White and wife, Angie, andBrad White and wife, Josette; and his two great-grandsons, Landonand Seth.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 10, at RiverwoodFamily Funeral Service Chapel, with burial in Easthaven Cemetery inBrookhaven.

Visitation was Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.
