Funeral services for Viola McKenzie Delaney, of Hazlehurst, are11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 13, at Bethel Baptist Church in Hazlehurst,with burial in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Services isin charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Delaney, 85, died Aug. 11, 2010, at Hardy Wilson MemorialHospital in Hazlehurst. She was born in Copiah County on July 30,1925, to Will McKenzie and Lou McKenzie.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Bethel BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Troy VirgilDelaney; her daughter, Linda Faye Priest; her grandsons, AuthurPriest, Timothy Priest and Christopher Priest; her brothers,Burnice McKenzie, J.C. McKenzie and William McKenzie; and hersisters, Deliah Granger, Rosie Nell Granger and WilmaGranger.

Survivors are her sons, Troy Jim Delaney and wife, Margaret; herdaughter, Montiel Delaney McLemore and husband, Ronnie; hersisters, Emma Lee Delaney, Christine Case, Mildred Gladden, LevuniaWindom and Elizabeth Jane White; and her six grandchildren; 13great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
